Default PAS leak - pressure pipe o rings?

Hello all, first post on my V50, looking for help with a leak on my PAS rack at the high/low pressure line connection points.

Picked up new O ring seals from Volvo. Cleaned up the ends of the pipes and the sockets in the rack. Fitted new seals, tightened everything up and put fluid in to bleed.

Found I still have a leak. Checked work and found that both pipes move a little in the sockets despite the clamping plate being as tight as it will go.

Anyone know if the high pressure line seal is 100% provided by the o ring or does it depend on the clamping plate?

Can’t figure out why the pipes would feel loose apart from cleaning them up.

Pics show the connection point for pressure lines, high pressure at the top with some corrosion to start with.

Anyone else had this problem? Any thoughts welcome.

Those seats are corroded aren't they? what the O ring sits on.. the pressure in the system is many hundreds of psi so has to be perfect. certainly not a common problem. Maybe someone has left the pipes off for a while.
