V60 service undertray removal
I’ve found that following a recent service, my 2013 V60 D5 facelift has a couple of broken retaining clips on the front most undertray, so it now hangs loose. Does this undertray get removed as part of an oil and oil filter change? I also had an offside track rod end gaitor changed at the same time.
Want to establish whether it’s the dealer that has broken it or just coincidence. I seem to be looking at about £50 to replace it? Part number 31386719

Why will a couple of broken clips require a new undertray, or is it the lugs with the holes through them that have snapped off the tray?
Previously (with other car makes) I used to hate the dodgy corroded undertray bolts and the plastic clips on the subframe that would snap or just spin in the threads. I bought a massive pack of metal clips with new bolts (a few hundred pack from ebay for just a few quid). Whenever I encountered corroded bolts and dodgy clips, I’d just replace with new bolts and clips

The clip is the same as the type you see on a game boy battery compartment, not sure if there is a term for it. Two of these tabs have snapped off the undertray so it does not stay in place. Photo below for reference. Not near the car at the moment or I would get a photo of the tray itself.

I went to the old City Motors in centre of Bristol. The new Waylands dealer wanted nearly £400 for a change of oil, filter and pollen filter and wouldn’t come down. Same service was under £200 at Waterhouse in Essex. Didn’t have the time to drive to Essex or I would have done that and saved even more than I did by going to City Motors.

This is the clip as it is suppose to look. There should be 5 in total like this. Two are now broken. You can see they are moulded as a part of the undertray itself and not a separate clip that can be purchased.
This is how the two broken clips look.

yes that's the ones , you should be able to get replacements from Volvo parts or make some brackets to hold those up ?

Makes me say a four letter F-word. Ford.
P2 models have fibre glass undertrays held in with anodised M8 bolts into captive nuts on the subframe. No plastic single use crap like on P3's....
