240 Overdrive Gearbox For Sale

240 Overdrive gearbox [M46 gearbox?] for sale. Overdrive was working when removed from car several years ago. De-cluttering my garage so needs to go. Collection from East Hertfordshire. Was on here some time ago but didn't sell then. Still need to clear the garage so going on ebay shortly unless anyone here wants it.

you will need the driveshaft which belongs to that gearbox

front and rear secvtion as matching up might bring surprises.
there are several spindle sizes.

be warned ( I talk out of experience)

Never mind brodgar it is probably not available anymore. Thanks for your advice as ever, hope all il well. I will probably look for an early M47 (not an AK)

But petrol engines always used the same spindle on the primairy shaft or ???? 22 teeth! I have heard rumours of ratios being different in several M46 but should be the only diff (besides the speedo-drive obviously)
