Cruise Control
The Cruise Control stops working after about 20-25 mins of driving, the "Cruise" light just goes out.
There is no codes being thrown up and I did the test for the clutch position sensor, when you hold down clutch and see if "Cruise" lights up, then goes out when lifted. Also checked its not the brake switch, no brake lights staying on etc. Any Ideas, like I said, it comes on, but then goes out after like 20 mins of driving each time. |

What year, model and trim? Miles?
One tale of CANBUS woe involved failing solder joints in the ABS controller. I recall cruise control being knocked out. The bottom of the unit drops away (4 screws) for relatively simple/cheap repair. |

Cruise Control stops working if the ETM starts failing(depends if it is ETM or Bosch throttle body)
If the Pedal Position sensor starts failing or Brake position sensor too. In essence I have the same problem, but for me I have a definite code ECM-9400 which for my car is Brake Position sensor located on the brake booster outside the car(for Bosch guys ECM-9400 is apparently accelerator pedal). Basically quite a few ways for CC to be overriden to the disabled state by quite a few modules. Since your problem is intermittent the code is not "confirmed". It's in the pending state. But in OP's case its intermittent thus it's not in the confirmed state. |
