EGR valve position is ok.
EGR error very often shows 99%, probably bug in the app.

But the swirl is stuck. I don't know how to fix it.

EMAP pipe is clogged, check out this YT video:

The EGR should be thoroughly cleaned, probably clogged as most VEA engines.

So my emap pipe was blocked solid but hasnt made too much change cleaning it , possibly the sensor is toast too?
what readings in kpa would you expect at idle around 118kpa is what Im seeing should it go up with boost?

I have been putting off cleaning this pipe on a V70 D4 VEA (long story after a DIY DPF de-ash and full EGR and inlet clean last year ) mostly because I couldn't undo the banjo - finally managed that (along with dropping it in between the heatshield and exhaust manifold ) and then found the brake cable trick wasn't quite enough to dislodge the crud - I left it to soak overnight in some degreaser but after that didn't help much - the blockage is nearest to the manifold end where the pipe takes two 90 degree bends (what a stupid design) I hit it with a blowtorch which burnt off the oil residue (brown smoke) then once toasty (not red hot) I blew compressed air from the sensor end which made the pipe red hot where the blockage was an burnt off the remaining soot Pipe is now clear and I actually get EMAP sensor readings and hopefully no more Pxxxx code that has no meaning and hopefully no more "intake runner blah blah" error due to the swirl flap position not matching what the EMAP should be...

And to clarify my slightly hasty error code recollection - these were the two regular ones:

ECM-00BC00 No match (this didn't throw the check engine light but seems to be the EMAP causing lumpy low speed running and reduced engine performance warning)

ECM-P200977 Intake Manifold Runner Control Circuit Low (Bank 1) - Mechanical Failures - Commanded position not reachable (this would trigger occasionally when giving it power and then easing off, linked to swirl flap position I believe - sometimes the CEL would go out after several uses of the car but never quite obvious why!)

Hope this helps someone!
