Standard audio system

Is the standard audio set up on the V90’s acceptable? I have the offer of a car with the standard audio whereas I always thought I would spec the Hartman Kardon one?

The standard system is excellent, in fact a pal with an XC90 is gutted that he spent an additional fortune on a Bowers and Wilkins system after he's experienced my standard Volvo system in my V90.

Spend the money you've saved on something else!

Still, the base system comes without subwoofer, afaik. Harman Kardon has a sweet spot in the middle, I think.

2018 V90 - standard system. It is very good. A sub would be better, but not £3k better!

Test drove R Design S90 with standard system and the B&W system on my Inscription is miles ahead.

If you like your music B&W is definitely the way forward. Best system I've heard so far, beating Burmeister and H&K systems in Audi, BMW and Merc.

It's a testament to Volvo's all round sound isolation quality from the outside with the 60s and 90s series that allow us to debate music quality in their cars...Geeley did a good job for sure.
