In case you haven't seen it on ebay and live somewhat nearer than me, there is a rare 164TE on the 'bay. Lacking in some bits (including osf wing) it is still a TE. Apparently some bits went to help another one recover, it looks mostly there: ends on Monday, please rescue it before the banger-boys get hold of it. Have put in for interior to go in mine but the seller won't break.

Has just sold for a paltry £127: wish it had been nearer me as I would have paid double that just for spares for my car.
Hope it won't be raced, but I know banger-boys love these barges.

Well done Sasp - so few people want to take on the restoration of a car that isn't perhaps as fashionable as say a Volvo P1800. As I've had the latter and enjoy the 164s I certainly know what I'd rather spend my money on.

Consequently I have loads off second-hand 164 spares (sadly not local to you though, and before you ask no new front wings!). As you are a new member with probably less than the 30 posts before you can send PMs my direct email address is paultill@tesco.net if you want to think about needs.

Can you put any progress pics on here for all of us to enjoy? However, when I say "all" I mean the relatively few 164 enthusiasts there are nowadays....
