Default s40 rattling dash and whining front wheel

Hi ive just bought a s40 2.0d se sport but there seems to be a rattle comming from the middle vents. Has anyone found a cure or cause of this thanks.

Also i have a whining kind of noise when i drive but when i turn left it gets louder but dosent happen if i turn right. Any thoughts

Is the whine on full lock only?

Hi no when you are driving it constent but if you turn left it gets louder. I think this is in the wrong section somehow.

sounds weird.

I see your in Kirkintilloch - You taken it to a garage? I use 'the garage' (www.the-garage.co.uk) Marc who owns it is really awesome.

Also, Volvo Max in Cambuslang are supposed to be good but I've not used em personally.

Did you get this sorted my T5 just developed a similar noise from the driver side wheel area only when I turn right?!? had a good look and can't see anything obvious suspect it may be the wheel bearing......
