Default Auto radiator design?

Sooo I have a weird question that I'm hoping someone can help me with....

I had a bit of an accident while working on the car yesterday which resulted in the radiator taking a whack from the jack!

There's a a bit of a dent in the bottom of the radiator now, cooling fan got smashed up but I've ordered replacements, what I want to know is where does the cooler for the transmission run? Is there any chance of internal damage causing the coolant and ATF to mix?

Many thanks for any advice

The ATF chamber is a vertical section on the left hand side of the radiator (nearside/UK passenger side).

The transmission cooer lines enter and exit on the left side tank.
The loop/coil itself rides high in the tank so a whack on the bottom edge shouldn't have effected it.

Thank you for your help! I need to drive the car for a couple of days until the parts arrive, it's not losing coolant but I definitely don't want to leave it like that!

cheshired5 I don't suppose you're changing a radiator and videoing it tomorrow?

Lol no but I've detailed the process on here a couple of times.
It's not too bad a job.

No problem. There is a video showing the aftermath of a split in the atf/coolant wall inside the coolant radiator so you can see what to look out for if there is a problem.
