Geartronic selector button repair kit
Bought this for my '04 XC70 but found my selector button was the later design with the metal pin. I've managed to repair mine so this brand new part is now surplus to requirements. £8 inc P&P.
This photo shows the difference between the two types, so make sure yours in like the one on the left. This should fit 2000 to 2004 models and this was the original listing details: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2812467846...84.m1439.l2649 It's a 5 minute job to remove the unit, pop the pin out and fit the new button. Any takers for this? Make me an offer, as it's of no use for my current car. Might be handy to keep in the toolbox in case yours breaks and then you won't be able to get the gear selector out of park.

That's the trouble I found, hence why I ended up getting the superglue out. You may just have to try a main dealer. I wouldn't bother with 2nd hand as it's likely to be just as fragile as the one you've already got.
