Hi Looking for the short handbrake cable the one that you adjust goes between the lever and compensator Many Thanks.

Hi and thanks for the reply I should have said it was for a 2000 on a W reg not sure if they changed them on a Later model ? sure somebody will be able to help us out on here and if it fits will deffo have it Thanks.

No my consol is different to the one in the picture mine has the two cup holders under the handbrake and a large ash tray /bin in the rear but looking at the vadis you have posted that looks the same as my handbrake set up and all i need is the brake wire no2 on the vadis that you posted. Thanks again for your help. sorry cup holders under the arm rest been a long day

I am afraid it is a bit different in the phase 2 cars. Here is a photo of my gear lever. Phase 2 cars use a metal rod instead which makes more sense than just a cable.

Yea sure is different from mine but looks like a lot better set up being a lot easier to adust the handbrake cable than the one fitted to mine,will check out flea bay on one of the cars they are breaking on there, if not off to the main stealers ! a really big thanks for all your assistance regarding the cable and a least i have the part no of the vadis that you posted once again many thanks for all your help.

Got a cable from the dealers today £7.50 plus the vat thanks to gatos for his all his help.
