Default 960 load liner removal

How do I remove the load liner / cover in my 960 estate ? it just seems to be fixed in place, the fixing either side doesnt push outwards like on V70 and 850, and the whole thing doesnt seem to slide inwards enough to pull it out

Assuming it's identical to the 7/940 one, and I THINK that the rear structure of both cars is identical, you need to retract the load-liner, push both barrel-shaped end-pieces towards the car's centre line and then lift the cover off its carriers.

OK thanks, I'll try that, but the two end pices are crewed to the trim piece, they dont seem to move at all !

The locating brackets are screwed to the trim but the ends of the load liner just locate in the square holes of said brackets and should push in as Alf said.
