Thumbs up Jetex S/S Exhausts on eBay

Hi there,

I'm not sure if this is the correct place to put this, or even if I am allowed to (I'm sure the powers on high will correct me, if I am wrong).

There is a seller on eBay that I would personally like to recommend.

Seller: sportscardriverone
Link: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/VOLVO-Jetex-Sp...QQcmdZViewItem

I have just received a stainless steel cat back system for my new Turbo, that I only paid for on Wednesday (so don't worry that the seller is registered in Australia, the exhaust actually comes from Warwickshire). It is on sale for £299.00 with free delivery (mine came by DHL), and is for any single exit Jetex sports exhaust. There is a "Best Offer" option on the listing, so I reckon you'll end up paying around £270-£280

When I was looking for one of these, it was over the £300 mark, and with times as they are, we all need to save some pennies, so I hope this is of interest to someone!

BTW There are 4 Days and 20 Hours remaining on the listing as of 15:00 22/08/08.

Sorry mate, it will be a couple of months before I get mine fitted. But I'm sure there are others that have the same Jetex system with the single 100mm tail-pipe.

Can't wait though, I'm sure it will sound great going through the tunnel in my local town centre, not sure if it will beat my CBR with it's Micron fitted though!

Hiya,

I haven't bought from that eBay seller but I did buy this Jetex exhaust for my 850R:

http://www.partsforvolvosonline.com/...oducts_id=2776

It upgraded my exhaust diameter from 2 1/4" to 2.5" and I'm generally pleased with it. It (along with an intake change) helped free up a few more horsepower according to a dyno day, and the exhaust gas temperature is noticably higher which I think is a good indication it's freer flowing.

It does have a slight drone when cruising at about 50mph in 4th on my auto box (can't remember the revs right now) - if it bothers me I knock it down into third until the SPECS have gone away :-)

HTH, Pete
