These are slightly different to the 740 one,just in case some one tries to sell you an earlier one.
I know this because I have just sold my 740 dog guard and was much deeper than the 940 I currently have.(the seats were taller in the 940,I think) |

this chap is selling one on auction.

You probably will because there is a type of catch that holds the guard up when not in use, or you want to use the whole 6ft of boot space that these lovelies have to offer.
If you cant ever see yourself having to raise the guard then go for it and good luck. Buy it anyway, they are so rare... Shaun |

That guard is the early type and will not fit your '97 car.
All post 1994 940/960/V90 cars need the later type that looks like this: ![]()
