  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way
  • AOL Customers: Make sure you check the 'Remember me' check box otherwise the AOL system may log you out during the session. This is a known issue with AOL.
  • AOL, Yahoo and Plus.net users. Forum owners such as us are finding that AOL, Yahoo and Plus.net are blocking a lot of email generated from forums. This may mean your registration activation and other emails will not get to you, or they may appear in your spam mailbox

Default What is this and should it buzz?

Hi friends,

Can someone please tell me what this is (see photo)? I can see it's attached near the throttle body. And is it normal for it to continue making sounds for a minute after I turn off the ignition?

It's a bit close in for me to make out where it lives but I'm sure someone will know.
You can see half the part number so if you find the rest and Google it, you may get your answer faster.

Its the EGR controller, its what opens and closes egr valve and yeah they do buzz for abit when you turn ignition off,

When we calibrated anything and cycle ignition there is an over run time we have to follow until it is reset

Ahhhh.... So the EGR controller is just resetting / re calibrating itself?
