Default Electric Drivers Seat Will Not Go Far Enough Forward

Hi there,

I have just bought a C30 R-Design D5 and having test drove it and found everything was in order I drove it home. Then my wife gets in and discovers that the drivers seat doesn't seem to go far enough forward for her to be comfortable. The only options seems to be to raise the whole seat up which also brings the seat forward slightly too. Here is a photo that shows both seats at their lowest position and then as far forwards as they can go. You can see that the manual passenger seat goes much further forward than the electric seat. Is this normal, or is there an adjustment I can make?

Thanks in advance for any help.

From the photo it looks about as far forward as it goes. The pax seat can go further forward as there isn't a safety issue with the stearing wheel. It looks from the picture like it is two inches from the steering wheel? Is it an issue with the pedals or the steering wheel. Remember there is rake adjustment on the steering wheel if thats the issue

something jammed in the runners perhaps ? Does it hit the stop when going forwards?
