1800 wanted for hire
I would like to hire a Volvo 1800 (not ES) for a few days in September (all been well). There are several hire firms advertised on the web but they dont seem to have this model. Does anyone know if such a service exists in the UK? I cant afford to buy one but it might be nice to drive one around for a few days. Thank you.

If you hired out your car for a week at, say, £500 for the week, plus a vast deposit to cover problems (maybe another £500 at least) then that might pay for, say, having the seats retrimmed or the cylinder head reconditioned, or whatever. Just a thought....

Alright, Pez, you win....Just been looking at the pics of your resto job on the Estate - looks fantastic. I think if I were you I'd be looking at setting up a chauffeur service!

I haven't used the following company, but did a google search for Volvo 1800 hire and came across this: http://www.starcarhire.co.uk/movie_tv_saint.htm. No idea of price. Maybe worth a call? |
