Hello BellaXC60. I have an almost identical problem with my 2015 XC60. May I ask was there a final resolution to your SRS module woes? What was it please?

Hello. Thanks for your reassurance. Did the new module fix the other error messages? Did you ever discover why the module failed? Did the fix last? I am suspicious about a solid state device failure without some external cause. Thank you.

Yes the new module & software reload etc at the dealer sorted it & all the associated errors.

If the information any use Buck, my replacement SRS control module today should have cost £860 for part and fitting and programming, but I got a little discount off this. I retained my old unit in case one of these online specialists can repair it and program it to another car. See my other thread on the subject.

Default Replaced SRS Module

Hi All,

Not sure if anyone has any advice. V60 2015 came up with lots of faults whilst doing a long distance drive on straight, flat roads.

Used VIDA and found SRS module not responding.
Bought a second module and had the original cloned to it by CrashData.

Oriignal error codes prior to sending off to be cloned
DIM-U015100
BCM-U015100
CVM-U041568
CVM-U03004A
BCM-U0002855
Various Crash Input failures.

I've just installed the clone, which was a matching part numbers today and it's now being seen by VIDA.

I cleared all the error codes and the following have turned back up immediately.

SRS-U210100 - Control Module Configuration Incompatible
PBM-P061E67 - Internal Control Module Brake Performance
SRS-B00DF64 - Passenger Restraint Disabled
SRS-B00531D - Second Row Seatbelt Out of Range
SRS-B00541D - Second Row Seatbelt Out of Range
SRS-B00551D - Second Row Seatbelt Out of Range

Does SRS-U210100 mean that it's an incompatible part??

Can this be rectified with a software update from a dealership?

Appreciate any help

Is it just me who is thinking that there are rather a lot of these failures appearing on the forum? I can't help wonder if it is a component failure within the module or is it programmed into it, i.e. longevity?

Has anyone identified any common individual component failure within the module?

I just had to replace one on my MY2016 XC60, total cost including the plug in £1032.00.

make sure to read off the delivery tab as the old faults will still show on the initial state tab make sure the crash module is screwed down to the body as this is the earth connection
