!44 front brake rotors
H, what's the minimum thickness permissible after wear, before replacing the rotors?

The 1971 140 service manual specifies a minimum thickness of 13.14 mm for the B20E and 11.6mm for all other engines.

Note that the 11.6 mm is the thickness after resurfacing to remove any ridges. If you are 12 mm after resurfacing it seems like you are good to go.

Thanks for all info.I have gone ahead and ordered new rotors anyway. Taking everything into account, resurfacing cost of new rotors and time it's just as cost effective and more secure to replace everything at the same time time. can then forget about everything and enjoy driving without any future concern.
