Red face S40 2004 Mk1 Electric windows and Mirror adjustment

Hi all
My s40 windows and mirror adjustment stopped working last week out of the blue. They don't work from any panel in the car wether it be passenger, driver or rear switches.
So I set out working out what it could be, I started with fuses. All replaced interior panel and engine bay fuses.
I've replaced the switch panel in the driver's side, no luck and I have even repaired a split wire just under the switch panel connector, still nothing

I am at a loss and need some advice on a common failure causing this that anyone may know about

Any help would be greatly appreciated as I am trying to hold of going to an auto electrician

are you sure you have found all the fuses volvo some times have more than 2 fuse panels also look at where the wiring enters the door.. breaks can happen at this location.

I'll have a look at the door. I checked the manual for the location of the fuses and found 2 locations, one under steering wheel and the one in engine bay I think that's the only location.
Will check the door wires tonight
