This is the second xc90 i've had that the rear doors squeak really loud when opened and shut , i've tried WD40 but it doesn't make a difference any ideas?

Try spraying the hinges with lithium grease, much better than standard WD40 for lubrication.

It sounds like something is amiss if it's still happening. Do the doors look perfectly aligned on the outside with consistent gaps and at the same height as the front doors?

The doors are spot on , i had the exact same problem with a previous XC90 . Maybe a thicker grease may solve the problem. The back doors don't get used very often

I bought a used XC90 from 2019. Obviously the rear doors hadn't been used too much.
Started with something similar to WD-40, then some PTFE grease and finally a lithium type. That worked. Now they open nicely. |
