Variable speed or ratio pumps aside - idle oil pressure always tells you plenty about oil temp. there will be a significant difference between hot and cold.

They didnt switch to 0w/20 it was designed for the new VEA 2 litre 4 cylinder engines from 2015 the 5 cylinders remained on the 0w/30....
There were a few ( not all ) early VEA engines 2015 - 2016 which had carbon build up behind the oil control rings , a few engines had new modified pistons. This did not cause catastrophic Engine failures ,, what is your experience with catastrophic engine failures???
No the oil pressure will remain constant that's the point of the variable capacity oil pump ... pumps more when hot and less when cold depending on load , rpm and oil temperature ..
