this guy from the netherlands did the job several times by putting two bellhousings together to fit B30egine to AW71. http://www.hukebasart.nl/huke/. He ONLY does this. But he will send you some adresses an tel.no. from customers who did your swap. Some dutch guy near Rotterdam. Sorry, I lost his deatils. Was very substantial, friendly. Partslist was endless.

another solution is to put a aluminium adapter-plate between cut(?) b30-bell and aw71. some guy in my town did this in his 1800ES, but isnīt satisfied. custom made aircraft-certified-alu-adapter cost a fortune, whole system is incontinent and he has some electrical problems...

decided against this swap in my `72 164E, cause itīs far too complicated and expensive. wanted to replace my BW35-autobox for something more strong and reliable. now swapped to M400-manual. simple 3hr-job- plug and play.

due to much torche, itīs still an "automatic" feeling, driving in 3rd gear.
