Sorted,a hairline crack on the underside of a bend in the rubber fuel pipe allowing air in and breaking the vacuum from fuel tank to pump. Any way,pump overhauled so that should prevent any pump problems in the future.
The tube That I removed has 5.6mm printed on it but on amazon .de (can't buy from UK now) they only list 5mm &6mm which should I go for? I want to replace all the fuel pipes.
