On a separate note I found this image of a dark blue 145 exactly same shade as mine was. If you blow the image up you will see that it is a very distinct blue - slightly lighter than navy, but does look navy in certain light.
Will be satisfying getting the small things done so that it is drivable before embarking on the full restoration.

Thanks for the link to the blue 145, and yes I’d agree it does look a bit more ‘blue’ than a midnight blue, plenty of time to decide, got to repair it first😀
Yes, hopefully if I can get things working and running properly it does 2 things, identifies items I need to source as replacements, and also saves bolting things in that don’t work. There’d be nothing more gutting, than putting something in a freshly painted shell and scratching the paint when it didn’t work and needed changing.
