You've got me thinking with regard to which I prefer now, never really crossed my mind before regarding changing from original. I quite like the fuller outer suround of the early style as does look more classy but leaning maybe towards the bars in the centre rather than the mesh, hmmm, will have to have a look at some pics of early cars I think.

it has a central bar runing through the middle with the mesh ( stainless steel )as a backing i will have photos later to pop on as we had fitted them to my dads estate to see what they looked like
