The point surely is that eBay rules say you can't just advertise "Lots of stuff - contact me for details"; you can only advertise specific items with an opening price.
The long-accepted answer is to advertise say one wheel nut or a wiper motor, which then means anyone looking for other parts can contact the seller.
Everyone knows that - it's how it works

Obviously anyone who wants to buy the whole car is free to contact the seller and agree a price. But act quickly or you'll find bits like the wiper motor are missing.
