I fitted the solid flywheel on my car a long while ago now. It's just the standard 'dog dish' one. I used the complete 940 diesel clutch set-up with it and only had to space the pivot about 6mm.

I would have thought that if you need to lengthen the pushrod you would need to space the pivot out even more then you do with the diesel clutch. What angle does the arm sit when the clutch release bearing is up against the clutch plate ?
I know on some cars it's possible to put the clutch plate in back to front so I wonder if that could be the case on yours perhaps.

TTV must be selling these to be used with a particular clutch assembly, what do they recommend using ? If you are using the correct parts and the slave cylinder is bled properly it can only really be that the flywheel isn't the right size.
The clutches can be a paint to bleed properly so it might be worth checking again. I think I removed mine from the mount so I could ensure the bleed nipple was at the highest point.
