I picked up my XC60 last week and gave it a good run back down the A14 home. This should have cleaned the DPF nicely however, upon using for the first time on Monday, up pops the "Engine Service Required" warning.

Take it to my chap (Volvo trained) who plugs in his reader and there is the Oil Level Too High message. It was reset and off I went only for the message to repeat itself after a couple of stops and 5 miles later.

Upon checking the oil level, it was just on the max. mark. He is going to lower the oil level tomorrow which he anticipates will sort out the problem.

I shall report back the result.
