I have a pair of S40 bars which are available for £40 plus carriage. I used them on my 1998 S40 Phase 1 and they are lockable and in good straight condition.

The only thing is, I don't know if they are exactly the same as V40 roof bars. If interested, I can attach photos and give you the dimensions.
