Thanks for the reply.

No, I was not able to read the V70 before updating VX Manager last week, the firmware, and the drivers. Vida complained the something about expired licenses. Vida itself is patched and working great otherwise.

However, to be clear, I was able to read both my V70's (2001 and 2002) in the summer before the licenses in VX Manager expired.

The reason I updated VX Manager, the firmware and the licenses is that I got an error message that the licenses for the Passthrough and Volvo Vida drivers had expired in VX Manager. They expired 2020-12-31.

When I read the V70 in the summer of 2020, an earlier version of VX Manager was installed (I think it was version 1.6.2.0902, not sure). To update the licenses, I first had to:
a) update VX Manager to the latest version 1.8.4.0315,
b) then update the firmware for VCX Nano to 1.8.4.0, and
c) update the Passthrough and Volvo Vida drivers in VX Manager.

The (successful) reading of the V50, 2012, took place with the latest version of VX Manager, firmware, and drivers as specified above. I tried reading two V70's (2001 and 2002) with the exact same setup the same day without success.
