It will be fine, I had a MY17 D4 FWD and towed heavier weights than that.

FYI the towing weight is based on what the car can set off with on a 10% gradient, hence AWD cars and those with auto boxes sometimes have a higher rating - but they're not that different on the open road.

Unless you had the 177 (170) the XC60 has 50 BHP more than the VW.
