I am fairly new to this site, I purchased my first Volvo in Jan 2022 and I too was keen to get Dice and Vida for diagnostics. I came to the conclusion it may not happen from Cheshire5 as nobody appears to be able to get hold of him. I ended up buying one from
www.vvde.info which appears to work. The site also has a lot of useful information and links on setting it up. Installing it wasn't the nightmare that I was expecting, but I did it in stages each time cloning the notebook disk so I could wind back if things went wrong. It is a great deal easier than getting BMW software working.
