Similar problem here. I did clean my MAF sensor with alcohol. Did not soak it just brightened it up with a Q tip dipped in isopropyl. Did I trespass?
With car running if I disconnect MAF the car immediately dies which makes me think it's working. I had never seen this warning in fact I read on forums that alcohol was ok.
