Not the saloon, the estate. I should not be allowed to use an iPad!:confused
I'd have thought £3,500 was quite expensive for the red estate car.

This one failed to get any bids (opening price was £3,200) - it is a 1990 GL saloon with 220,000 miles:

... the red estate car is a GLT and has a LPG conversion (good or bad?) - but has a chequered history. I would have thought £2,500 to £3,000 was about right.

:-)

PS. I was amused by two things in the red estate car's advertisement:

a. The seller's claim that 'it’s only a few years before it Tax exempt' - actually it will be 8 years (April 2029 as long as the rules don't change). I'd say that 8 is a bit more than a few.

b. That someone might consider it a sporting estate car by today's standards: 'An Estate Car that can do 0-60 in 9.1 Seconds'. My Skoda Superb 2.0 TDI estate manages the same in 8.5 seconds - and I would certainly couldn't think of that as a sporting motor car.
