In other news - given how valuable petrol is, I thought I’d get a locking cap
Got it from someone breaking a 240
Needed a good clean and degreasing and I even wire brushed the key as it had a bit of rust
Silicone spray in the lock mechanism and then changed over the seal as the new cap one was wrecked
Turned out not too bad tbh but it’s still got 20+ years of petrol on it
Next up I have some new gas struts for the boot coming as the boot stays up but falls pretty hard once horizontal
