The lock stops were new last year so two (four per side) nice thick washers underneath the lock stop bolts and the rubbing is gone. Turning Circle is obviously larger but since it was never small in the first place I don't think this is going to matter a lot. Horrible rubbing noise that drew looks from pedestrians and made me cringe is gone :-)

The plates are not expensive but factory order, so I have not as yet ordered them and of course fitted them, the nylon flanged nuts that hold them on have lost most of their thread and only two of the six (both sides) are able to be fully tightened. So it is two new plates and six new nuts needing ordered.

Car waltzed through its MOT with one silly advisory, I had forgotten to wipe the bottom of the engine and gearbox and the under tray is off, I need to get a new one of those. Scrap yard time methinks.
