Original Volvo brake pads
I bought my first Volvo from the drummer of Lindisfarne some 30+
years ago. I had some involvement with the Volvo owners club in Newcastle
and acquired a few old stock parts from the local dealer. These included four sets of brake pads for the 140 and 240 series for 1974 on. These have remained in my workshop unopened (although one has split open). I am guessing that they are illegal to use since on two sets it states that they contain asbestos. On the second two sets it does not have this warning.
Are these likely to be of interest to anyone as collectors items
since they are clearly original parts, came from a Volvo main dealer and are marked "Volvo made in Denmark".
