Recovery person will be able to get it started if they have one of those squeezy black rubber "priming bulbs".
essentially you need to refill the filter with diesel by using the handprimer to suck the fuel from the tank and fill up the filter.
So connect the priming bulb to the outlet of the filter that goes into the engine (pipe you disconnect is the one that goes underneath the intake manifold, if its a 2.0d).
Squeeze priming bulb multiple times and the filter will fill up eventually.
You can also connect it to the 'return' pipe (it has a green connector), get someone to crank, and keep squeezing the bulb.
Disconnect once the engine starts.
