If you look at the three lobes of the bushing, two of the lobes are greater than 90 deg in angular spread and the third is perhaps 90 deg or a bit less. With the A arm horizontal, I oriented my bush with the small lobe at the top and the gap between the two larger lobes directly at the bottom, pretty much as you have the bushing oriented in your second photo.

That is how I did it. That doesn't mean its correct.
