I had a similar problem with my 2006 185BHPD5. It turned out that the turbo seals are leaking oil which was causing the DPF to block and give me a spot filter warning.
I ended up replacing the turbo and the DPF and it fix the issue. I had to replace the DPF as it was completely blocked and I couldn’t find it off with a revel. Hope this could be of some help?.
