Further update. The car has now been taken to a diesel specialist. The turbo has blown again, the DPF and cat are damaged. Exactly the same as it was before Volvo repaired it. Compression is fine, no evidence of any ring or piston damage. The specialist suspects that the inlet manifold may be cracked as well but will not, at present, investigate further pending additional instructions from the insurance company. Insurance company has told Volvo that they have to repair it again, Volvo have requested another meeting with the insurance expert which is scheduled for 2 June.
