As above, the windscreen won't leak as a result of that part being missing.

You can buy new windscreen seals from Volvo. They come in the three distinct parts (left, right and top) and each part is about £100 new; so £300 for a complete set.

The replacement parts are not such a good fit on the clips as the originals and the top seal does not come pre-shaped to the contour of the screen.

So even if you spend £300, manage to bend the poor-fitting new replacements to shape and get them to fit on the clips there is a very good chance the whole thing will come off again. Rain and passing a wagon under a bridge at speed create ideal conditions for testing this theory.

Mine has stayed broadly in place since sticking it onto the clips with Tiger Seal except the ends of the top piece have popped out again as the hot weather softens the tiger seal and causes the part to try to regain its original shape.
