Just an update incase anyone else wants to do this on a 2012 R-design with the large propshaft flange.

As previously mentioned the flange needs to be removed to enable the Haldex pump to be removed.
Once the 6propshaft bolts are removed the prop shaft needs loosening from the flange, my 2012 did NOT have the additional threaded holes in the flange to drive the propshaft out, the additional holes had no threads. I simply put a long punch in from the rear through the additional holes and tapped the propshaft loose.

To drop the propshaft out of the flange is very difficult even once loosened from the flange(the flange is deep). The only way to get the propshaft out the flange was to drop the exhaust to the floor, even then it was very hard to get the propshaft in and out of the flange.
Once the propshaft is out, removing the flange is pretty straight forward, air gun the nut off as it is very tight then just tap the flange off.
Changing the pump, filter and oil is then simple.

Reassembling is straight forward apart from trying to get the propshaft back in the flange as it is very tight for clearance(this would be easier with two people)
Hope this helps anyone who is thinking of doing this on car with the large flange.
