I previously said welcome to 1962. I should really have said welcome to 1947! The front suspension is about as old fashioned as you can get for independent. Movement is very limited as you see by the ultra short shocks. Shock selection might be something to look at. Not much choice. Koni did them and they were I think adjustable. Most of the Koni's are or were.
Rob at Amazon cars here in the UK could possibly advise. They rally one but it might have been modded to twin shocks. They have customers with road PVs.
