Default For Sale Volvo XC90 SE LUX D5 (185PS) Geartronic

Volvo XC90 SE LUX D5 (185PS) Geartronic MY2009 - March 2009 (09 plate)

For sale, I have owned this car from new, and will be really sad to see it go, but life moves on and so here we are.

The car has done 86K miles and has a full Volvo main dealer service history.
Last service was March 2020 and its MOT is due in March 2021.
The CO2 value is 224G/KM so attracts £330 per year road tax

Belts service was carried out at the year 10 service.
Coolant change was done at the year 9 service.
Geartronic transmission fluid change was done at the year 7 service.

I won’t list the full SE LUX spec as it’s easy to find out on the forum, but here are the highlights of my car.

Spec/options ....

XC90 SE LUX D5 (185PS) Geartronic MY2009

Paint 426 Volvo Silver Metallic
Volvo/Borbet 18” Camulus alloys with Nokian zLine SUV tyres (approx 6mm depth)
Sovereign hide interior in Calcite

Active Bi-Xenon headlights
Speed dependent steering
Single disc CD player with MP3 capability
Volvo (factory) Dual RSE with single DVD player, IR headphones, remote and 8” screens
Rear privacy glass
Volvo boot side panel net pocket RHS
Volvo folding rear compartment cargo net
Volvo tailgate load cover
Westphalia detachable towbar with 13 pin Volvo electrics and Volvo trailer module
Parrot CK3100 Bluetooth car phone system with Autoleads telemute interface
Mud flaps
Spare wheel, jack, brace etc
McGard locking wheel bolts

General condition I would say for an 11 year old car is excellent, it has had very little work done over the years except maintenance and tyres, and only one warranty claim for the ignition key switch at 4 years old.
The car is still on its original Volvo/Varta battery.

Body work paint is very good, but being its age there are a few stone chips (bonnet, front bumper and side rubbing strips) that have been touched in. On the OSF wing there is a scratch that has been painted with clearcoat so it doesn’t corrode.

The interior is in excellent condition, and honestly don’t worry about the colour and children, my three and their friends failed to damage anything over the time we have owned it. The driver’s seat is showing some signs of my lardy behind and some slight colour rub on the outer edge of the seat (see pics) but that’s it.

The car has done many German and Italian holiday trips which it does with aplomb, comfort and relaxing drive plus 36’ish to the gallon over huge distances.

At the last service the OSF control arm ball joint was mentioned as being worn, but not an MOT advisory nor fail.

So what am I looking for? .... £6500, but I’m willing to talk on pricing ... PM me.

More pics available, any questions please ask.
