I use the same degreaser before painting / welding - it is very good. A capful used neat straight onto driveway oil patches also does an amazing job especially if you scrub it in and leave it overnight, then attack it with a jetwash.
Do you have a link to the sound deadening? I had to throw all of mine out, it was completely rotten. (Edit - I'm actually referring to the foam padding on the bulkhead under the fuel lines. Yours doesn't look OEM?)
