Default Fuel flap drainage pipe has become detached

Open the fuel flap and there's a drainage hole visible to allow for fuel overflow and also rainfall (?) and inflow during a car wash. The plastic drainpipe is concealed, and about 2 feet long.
Mine has become blocked more than once, leading to an inch-deep but very irritating accumulation of fluids (and detritus) sloshing around just under the filler nozzle.
In the past a pipe cleaner has done the trick but on the most recent occasion the gunk ooccurred much lower down. I extractede the pipe in its entiretyy, beleieving that after clearing, it would be easy to re-locate. No such luck? Its pathway is impossible to isolate and follow - from above, or below. So, for the moment, any overflow is pouring .. .. well, where? Not onto the road, but inside the wheel arch in some worrying manner. An inch of water/fuel sloshing around where I can get at it is bad enough; but potentially much more than an inch, where I can't get at it, is 1000 times worse.
Dealer visit? Urgent?
Thank you!
