Default camshaft oil seals?

Bit of a scare in my last euro-trip: the V50 waited until I was most of the way up the Julierpass in Switzerland before showing me that sullen little red warning light for oil! Only another 50km to go... I just about made it in on a few remaining drips of oil. Fortunately, my friends up there are no strangers to the spanner. We established that the most likely culprit was substandard materials used in pattern parts, especially the seal for the oil filter canister. Finding that out took about 15 litres of oil, which would spurt out as fast as we could put it in.

Eventually we had it oil-tight and I followed up with the nearest Volvo dealer (in Samedan, for all you Engadin regulars), in the morning. We swapped all the dodgy parts and they pressure-washed the engine bay, so I could tell if anything else was leaking: The trip back to Blighty proceeded without further incident.

But!

While looking round the car, they pointed out that the camshaft oil seals, weren't, with a long dribble of old dirty oil down the block from that general area. I can still see a certain amount of oiliness around the camshaft/cambelt area and I am having a running battle with the car park boys here because my dripping habits are becoming unpopular!

How hard is it to replace the camshaft oil seals on the T5 motor?
