Virtual Car Show 2020
The Club is running two Virtual Competitions.
There is the competition on the Forum which is open to everyone registered on the Forum and the reason for the earlier closing date is that with a very high registered numbers of users there is the potential with a very high level of entries which 'could' make the task of judging difficult - hence the closing date of the 14th June 2020 to allow more time.
The competition for Volvo Owners Club Members promoted in the magazine is likely to generate a lower number of entries, hence the slightly extended deadline.
Hope this explains the reasoning behind the decision.
Unfortunately it really is a case this time of 'learning as we go along' as certainly I personally have never been through a situation like this before and (hopefully) the learnings we take from this will never be needed again - fingers crossed.
